Mission Statement of the City of Garden City

  1. To render adequate and dependable services to the citizens of Garden City, consistent with good engineering, safety and business practices.

  4. To encourage the use of the utilities of Garden City to assure sufficient revenue to meet the obligations of the City.

  5. To operate the City's business in a manner which will result in low costs proportionate to the benefits received.

  6. To establish and maintain adequate records and systems of accounts to protect the citizens of Garden City and to satisfy regulatory bodies.

  7. To establish and maintain adequate reserves to assure continuity of the City.
